Sharon Longcroft![]() Founder and principal associate I have nearly 20 years experience in training, working with people in a wide range of roles and across all levels of business. Much of my work is around management, leadership and interpersonal skills. Previous work roles, together with my work as a training and development practitioner, have given me experience of a variety of environments including education, health, manufacturing, hospitality, retail and the creative industries. I love the wide range of work I am invited to get involved with as it keeps me fresh and enthusiastic which in turn keeps my programmes up-to-date and lively. Examples of projects I have completed include:
As a mature student I gained a BSc in Applied Social Psychology and later studied for a MEd in Training and Development. I am a strong believer in my own continuous professional development, attending seminars and training sessions when possible and keeping up to date with current trends through reading and networking. Clients have described me as creative, with a natural tendency to view the whole picture before uncovering and analysing the layers within a problem. I will always seek to understand an organisation’s objectives and culture in order to develop an empathetic approach. Friendly and outgoing with highly developed interpersonal skills I am able to develop strong and effective working relationships at all levels. I am a Member of the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) and am currently contracted by the ILM to work regionally in a quality role. When not working I enjoy walking (both leisurely and at speed!), watercolour painting, browsing antique fairs, the theatre, and chatting with friends over a glass of beer.
